Our Approach

When assessing a client’s requirement, we believe it’s important to be open and honest about any challenges or blockers which may hinder the project, but not without accompanying solutions. Equally, we apply the same approach to candidates, using a consultative approach to set the correct expectations.

We understand that no two clients are the same, which is why our structure and approach enable us to tailor our service to each specific recruitment campaign. With experience recruiting for household names, SMEs and public bodies, we know what it takes to recruit high-calibre people.

Meet the Team

Our consultants are backed up by an experienced team of resourcing professionals who scour the market for the best talent.

Jonathan Davies

Jonathan Davies, MD

Jonathan is the managing director here at Foxwood. An ex-rugby player and, believe it or not, cathedral choirboy (for two weeks). He’s the Team Manager of Cardiff University’s rugby team in his spare time. An avid sports fan, try and find a game Jonathan isn’t into! Business Development is his forte at Foxwood Recruitment, delivering on a number of key areas in travel, sales, distribution and construction – it’s safe to say Jonathan knows his Sales Assistant from his Board Appointments.

Jonathan has held numerous senior positions in sales management up to director level, across a variety of industries; he’s well equipped to deal with the most niche employment needs. The proud dad of one likes nothing better than weekends off with the family.

Malcolm Hingley

Malcolm Hingley

Malcolm is our resident Silver Fox specialising in senior appointments and the Travel Industry. Honing his skills for spotting talent while working as regional manager for a number of travel industry leaders, Malcolm has a tried and tested approach. Malcolm is a keen sportsman, previously playing both county level rugby and hockey. Before joining Foxwood, Malcolm held the position of Global Sales Director for Travel Counsellors, a true industry giant. More recently and alongside his role in The Den, Malcolm makes the most of his semi-retired status by indulging in his love for travel, sports, and his favourite form of relaxation: the occasional backyard cricket game with his grandson.

Nikki Chard

Alex Everett

Alex joined the den in September 2019 straight from Cardiff University where he completed a MSc in International Business Management. Although fresh from University Alex is not a stranger to performance environments, having had a stellar career on the rugby field to date: currently playing for Cardiff RFC and the Blues A sides.

Alex has settled in as our resident Editor-In-Chief for all things literary and is our go-to when we need any email or text edited. Outside of work and rugby Alex loves nothing better than donning some tweed, enjoying the pleasures of the countryside and occasionally sampling an ale or two in a local establishment.
